I have the new Mac Pro 12 core intel xeon machine and an MBox Pro Sound card. They are connected by a firewire 400-800 cable. but somehow, the machine is not recognizing the sound card. the mbox pro window shows "hardware not connected" message at the bottom left corner. i've tried changing the cable and even updated the mbox drivers. But nothing seems to work. please help if there is any other reason for this!! thanks!!
P.S. - Cant find the firmware updates anywhere online.. any links to the same would be of a lot of help.. thanks..
