Place your edit cursor at a desired location and use START CLICK GRABBER to move your clip to the exact edit cursor location on its current track. Add the ALT mod to copy it there ;)

Also, (on Mac) Ctrl-Cmd-Click spots the end of the clip to the cursor.

Don't forget Sync Points. Click with the selection tool wherever you want the sync point to appear in your clip. Control+comma (command+comma for Mac) to add the sync point.

Then, you can use Start+shift+click (control+shift+click for Mac) to spot that clip's sync point to the cursor. Super useful for lining up transients, super easy when combined with "tab to transient".
