Firewire CD-RWs

Do firewire CD-RW drives work well in conjunction with the Digi001 system? I was looking at the Sony Spressa 4x4x12 in particular. Anyone have any info regarding this?

Firewire CD-RW's are not support for MLCD. It will work if your using it for data back-up.

What about Jam and I wonder why that's not mentioned here. Is MLCD really better than Jam??? I've done much mastering and output many PQ coded masters w/Jam. I've spent enough money on digi that they should have bundled MLCD....but that ain't the way they survive to create the gear that we love to use.

By the way.....I'm still using the Yamaha CDR-100 4X purchased in early 96'(for $1100!!!!!) Thousands of CD's burned w/amazing track record. Is Yamaha still the way to Go?
