Been wondering... will there be any difference in sound like volume, plugins, pans, automations when opening a PT session from previous version of PT?

Not that important, I can always have two versions installed and it isn't often I get recalls with sessions older than one year, but it happens. :)

No, in fact you can go freely from 10 to 11 using the same session file.

It is possible that there initially could be some issues with 3rd party plugins and their availability in the new AAX2 64 Bit format. You'll need to have all new versions of your plugins before this back and forth would be seamless.
