Is there a 50 Pin internal connector on the Atto single Channel SCSI Card????

If so can all three connectors be used?

Any Pro's or Con's with this Atto Card in a 9600/300?

From the ATTO manual:

"When installing SCSI devices on the ATTO ExpressPCI PSC/PSCd, you can use any two SCSI ports on your ATTO ExpressPCI PSC/PSCd adapter, but you cannot use all three."

Yes, this card compares well to the 2940UW.

Happy holidays to you too!

Someone mentioned that the techs at digi said that the 2940 controller would be overkill, wouldn't the approved Atto card (EPCI-DC) be overkill also? Or do they mean that scsi all together is overkill for the 001?

Vanzifull,

For the 001, yes, I suppose you could say those cards are overkill for most people. (I don't think Dog BBQ is talking about an 001 system, just to be clear.)

However, they will work with the 001. Adaptec has an inexpensive card, the 2906, which we've tested with the 001. It's a fast-narrow card and it works pretty well. It's under $100.
