Lucky you. Wish I could afford one too. Have you compared it to the 192I/O or 96 I/Os?

I upgraded from an 96 to a hd i/o, the biggest difference for me is the amount of detail and clarity, I notice it especially in the reverb tails and delays etc which gives the sound more depth. I'm also enjoying HEAT...

That won't work directly. Is there a particular reason you need to use the digital out? Why don't you use an analog out into a volume controller into the sub (for bass-management) and from there into the genelec top speakers.

You may have to invest in an extra DAC if you have used all your analog outs already.

The HD Omni could do the job of the converter and volume controller in one. But there are plenty of other devices as well.

Hope this helps.

That particular sub apparently only has digital i/o. It seems it's made to work in a certain type of system that Genelec has set up.
