I upgraded from PT8.0.4 to PT9 last night and everything went swimmingly, save for one curious bit.

In new PT9 sessions, my 002R now only shows available inputs 1 and 2, and two SPDIF inputs. Four total inputs. Gone are all the rest of the inputs that used to be available to me (channels 3,4,5,6, etc).

Another clue- I opened a session that was created in PT8, and those tracks DO show all the old inputs available.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

You need to change your I/O setup.

See page 83 of the manual.

That thought did occur to me this morning- thanks getz76.

I sort of talked myself out of it since I don't recall ever doing that before, going back to my digi001 and PT6. And I haven't seen this issue on this forum.

Either way, I very much appreciate your direction. I'll look it up! Anything tricky in that area, seeing as I've never played with setting up inputs before?

Nothing tricky at all. Just go to each tab and hit "Default" and you should be fine.
