I purchased Pro Tools 9 and installed all software, ilok that came with it. When I go to open up PT, it starts to load up plug-ins and then comes to the BF-3A, Classic Compressor, Broadband Noise and Reduction, and Cosmonaut Voice. None of these are authorized for some reason. When I quit them to continue install, it loads a little further, comes to digirewire and then "quits unexpectedly". I have tried everything and I'm getting nowhere. I'm going to include the mumbo jumbo error message and maybe someone can help me.

Here is what I'm running PT on.

Hi,

First issue with plugins!! you must have installed the BF classic compressors and cosmonaut voice etc, but you must have the ilok auth for these to run? so unless you own the ilok auths for these plugins then remove them from the plugs folder. or what should happen is when booting PT it should ask if you want to move them to the unused folder?

Second issue with rewire!!! sounds like you have an out of date rewire app installed. try going to the propeller heads site and downloading the latest version of rewire. if this doesn't work then try removing the rewire plugin from the plugs folder... system drive/library/app support/digidesign/plugins

You don't mention if you had a previous version of pro tools installed? or if this is a complete fresh install.

Neither of those solutions will fix the ultimate problem, which is that they have an old or incompatible ReWire capable application installed - most likely Melodyne.

The true solution is to download and install the latest versions for any ReWire capable applications (Live, Melodyne, Reason, etc).
