I currently have the Complete Production Tool Kit, and wondered if there was a different deal for upgrading to CPTK 2?

No upgrade needed. Install Pro Tools 9 and use your existing CPTK auth to unlock those features.

the CPTK 1 it's ok with PT9. You don't need any upgrade (except pt9)
You'll have the same HD feature
