I have the Mc Mix - I was hoping there was either a manual that specifically provides some type of instruction on how to control Pro Tools. Yes, I figured out how to set it up and it's online. Fader and pans are easy.

How do you insert a plug-in?

How do you open a plug-in that's on a track?

How do you close a plug-in window?

Is there any type of manual or instructions - the movies don't show the details.

Thanks

Hi,

I saw the videos on the Euphonix website that are specifically for Pro tools. did you see those yet?

http://www.euphonix.com/artist/products/mc_mix/euph_artist_protools.php

I found they covered all of these questions and a lot more.

BTW, if you want to change to a MC Control, I could do a straight swap for mine, it's only V1, but it does have the touchscreen, which has all the PT commands on it, and makes it easier to control Pro Tools

Cheers

You're joking!!

A video does not replace a manual  !

Please remember to do a proper manual (at least as good as the ProControl one) when you integrate EuCon in ProTools - not much point to documenting the HUI emulation layer now, but it's worrying for the future none the less.

Didn't your Mix come with a printed "Quickstart guide"? I found it to give me enough info to get going, despite not being ProTools specific. and hopefully you did due diligence before purchasing so you're aware that it's not fully integrated and HUI isn't the optimal protocol

while we wait patiently for integration to take place.....
