how to record metronome??

how can i record metronome? i need it for background tape...
i have pro tools LE 8

choose a bus on the output of the click track, create an audio track, choose the bus as input of the audio track and record it.

I assume you mean a metronome that is NOT in pro tools? You can put any microphone on it and record it(but keep everything in the room quiet). A better solution is to use the click track feature inside pro tools and bus it to an audio track as clausiii suggested(this way, the grid will be followed).
