Adat Bridge

I wonder if anyone has the same problem?
When i configure pro tools mix 24 to the (a) side of the adat bridge everything works fine, when i configure it to the (a) and (b) sides i lose about 6db, annoying to say the least.
Any info on this would be much appreciated
