Protools Essential and Vista Professional

I just purchased the Keystudio, downloaded and installed the micro driver and installed the M-powered essential. Everytime I try to start PT I get a message saying: "unable to locate m-audio hardware. make sure your hardware is located and turned on." My m-audio keystudio is plugged in and turned on........the power switch is in the on position and the lights are lit up. Can someone tell me what might be the problem? Thanks

I followed your advice.....still no go. I did find out that the micro driver didn't install correctly though. When I tried installing the micro driver from the installation cd as well as the latest driver from the m-audio site I got the following message: "this version of windows is not supported by the micro installer". Any ideas?

I installed SP1 and PT is working perfectly. Thanks alot Benoni!;)
