Hi all,

Just got my Pro Control today, and got everything up and running very easily. I'm running through learning stuff, but can't for the life of me get this to work. It's a real PITA, as this is something I do VERY often - to loop a verse or chorus section of a song, or a scene in a film.

Any ideas whats going on? I can recall the individual memory locations fine, however whenever i hold down shift the memory recall doesn't work - the same applies when I hold down shift on the computer keyboard. Is this a known issue? Here is what the manual tells me to do, which doesn't seem to work...

Creating Selections using Memory
Locations
To create a selection using two memory locations
or markers as the in and out points:
1 Recall the memory location that contains the
desired selection start point.
2 Hold down SHIFT/ADD.
3 Recall a second memory location to set the
out point. The range between the two points is
selected.

I'm running an HD2 Accel rig on XP SP2.

Just spotted this:

https://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=3&langid=4&itemid=20817&categoryid=34

Which just says:

Using Pro Control to make a selection between two memory locations doesn't seem to work.

This is an issue seen in Pro Tools 6.4. It only effects Pro Control and not Control|24.

Workaround: Use a standard Qwerty/numerical keyboard.

Anyone got a workaround so that I can actually do it on the Pro Control?!
