View Full Version : Command 8 stops responding (temporarily)

It works fine when I first start up. I hit play, and it works, I hit stop - It works, play again, fine, stop...nothing, stop again, nothign, stop a 3rd time and it stops.
Then it takes several itterations of play to make it play, and it just gets worse. I have tried simply hitting the button once and waiting, but it never works. Is there some sort of buffer setting I've got wrong? Perhaps a CPU resource assignment to the USB port I need to set? It's going directly through the computer - not a hub. Running XP - 4 gigs ram, and 18 DSP chips...so I doubt ram is the issue. I'm running Protools HD 2.

Hi there,

Make sure you have the latest C8 driver for xp and that your version of PT is compatible with the C8. There may be a cs update you need.

I am using a powered hub and have not had any problems. (Except i messed up a couple faders)

I'm using a Mac, so I hope this may help.
