I assume you are asking if one can bank safe an input on a Profile desk...
1- go to the "Interaction" tab of the "Options" page.
2- select "Act as Bank Safes" in the "Input Safe Switches", so that the input safe buttons on the control surface and on screen let you control bank safe.
3a- from the control surface:
- select the strip you want to bank safe
- press the "safe" button located towards the top left corner of the control surface, at the bottom of the "Input" section
3b- from the UI (on screen)
- press the safe of the strip(s) you want to bank safe (that's the button above the meter of the input strip).

In all cases, the safe buttons will blink quickly when the strip is bank safed (on screen), and when the strip is selected, the safe button will blink on the control surface.
