Info. in the track

Hello All; I'm sure this will be a DA question yet it's a must. How do I turn on and off the info in the track (with the waveform in it) off and on again.While pocketing, the track numbers get in the way.Example; VOX 1_02 on top of the waveform.This will be a GREAT help to me. I could not find it.:-)
