In watching the Accelerated Video for new features in PT 7.3, Phil Jackson demos the Time Shift feature by turning a single male vocal into a cool 3 part harmony. In trying to emulate it in one of my sessions, I can do the shifting and all thay, and I do get a 3 part harmony of sorts, but the upper vocal sounds like Alvin of the chipmunks and the lower like Disney's Goofy. Everything is in correct tempo and all that. Even playing with the formant adjustment doesn't seem to make the diff. So what's the trick (or should I say the 'Art') to making them sound really clean and crisp, like Jackson's demo?
