Hi, I'd like to know if somebody find the recall safe for the external plug ins?........ And at least, how you fell with the deeseer Digi?..... Thanks, Steph Plisson.

Hi Steph,

Currently there isn't a selecion on the Recall Safe grid for plug-ins, so the best way to recall safe plug-ins is to remove them from the snapshot altogether. D-Show 2.5 contains a number of snapshot/plug-in management enhancements that make this much easier to do.

Re: de-essers. The Digi Dyn III de-esser is quite good, but for a "true" de-esser check out the Serato Compressor (http://www.serato.com/products/rane_series/#Dynamics). It uses a very clever ratiometric approach to de-essing, instead of an absolute threshold approach. This means the amount of de-essing is consistent regardless of how loud/quiet the singer is, so you're not constantly reaching for the threshold control.
