I understand I need a midi interface to have the best control while recording my td10 expanded vdrums to my MBox/Pro Tools LE.
Can anyone suggest a certain midi interface to purchase? I am new to both Pro Tools and VDrums.
Any other advice concerning this?
Thanks so much.

How about the M-audio UNO? I use a TD10 as well but run it into a DIGI002 which allows me to track 8 channels for tremendous control. You could still do this by making several passes with certain sounds turned on so you end up with seperate tracks for Kick, snare, toms and cymbals. You can also use the Roland kit to record a MIDI drum performance and then use BFD to drop in killer sounds.

Great info, Thanks.
Since I am a newbie, I'll grab that M-audio UNO. And after researching BFD...Wow!
Perfect advice.

get an edirol, UM2 probley best for your needs, while you may only need 1 MIDI i/o for now your setup will expand. my UM880 works flawlessly with PT, i have read about some issues with certain midiman/M-Audio inerfaces, digi have tested and approved the UM series for use with pro tools
