While we're dreaming why can't we have the current channel insert, eq, dyn follow the channel that is solo'd. When you change solo's the upper buttons should follow, just like on a real console, you hear AND see what you are soloing.

Pre-soloing would be great if it is possible. In place is real drag, since it kills you output.

I can think of more, but I'll only aks for a few.

Right now I would just like to see what 5.0 is really gonna do for basic audio functions and bugs..

For christmas this year I want someone to write in a way to use the 8 plug-in strips as memory locations with channel buttons for 1-8, 9-16...etc (like when a plug-in has more than 8 paramaters). Just press memory locations button on surface and you'd see the name of the locations on the plug-in strips, you could press select to goto and assign to goto and play, maybe you could press two at the same time to loop from point to point, and maybe even nudge the location with the knob. Just a dream come true this would be for me.
P.S. It'd also be nice to rearrange the locations somehow.
