Hi everyone,

My background is in audio and though I've been using Pro Tools for a few years now I only recently started experimenting with midi. I've picked up Stylus RMX, Trilogy and Lounge Lizard, all of which I am very happy with. Having said that, I am still feeling like I need to find some great midi drums, and a good way of programming them so that they have groove.

I just wanted to know how other midi folk create their drum sounds? What programs/samples are people using? How can I make them sound like a real player?

Also, can anyone suggest any "must have" virtual instruments?

Thanks in advance!
