i am just starting out and i have this 20 second loop that is extended for 3 minutes. how do i get them all to be one track so i could drag it?
also, is there anyway to pitch shift? speed up bass or any instrument within protool?

finally, i just layed down a 60 minute DJ mix and want to put in tracks so I coudl burn the mix with 12 tracks on a CD. How would I go about doing that?

thanks,Erez

First, to make you loop on track, highlight all the segments and go to the edit menu and select consolidate selection (or press Alt+Shift+3).

Second, under the AudioSuite plug-ins list there should be a pitch shift plug-in. Also, under "Other" in the AudioSuite list there should be a time compression/expansion plug-in.

Third, not sure if I understand this one. I think you want to take your 60 minute tracks and burn a CD with tracks, but still have it be able to play smoothly. I do not know if there is a way to do this in Pro Tools. I would use something like Sony's CD Architect or a similar program.
