looking for advice ....i am running ptle 6.4 on a powerbook 1.33ghz with 768mhz ram with live , reason , altered states and a nord...when all(live , reason and altered states) are up and runnig keep being told that i'm running out of cpu power.....just upgraded to this setup from a g4 dual 400 runnig 5.1 and thought i had plenty of power.....any advice would be greatly appreciated

My question as well. I have a 512 RAM G4 powerbook, 1.5 ghz. My CPU power runs out with like 5 RTAS plugs. Will more RAM help? My session that I'm trying to mix keeps shutting down. It either stops the bounce or playback and says that it couldn't access the info on the drive fast enough (brand new drive), or just quits on me. Is it my processor or the ram that's not enough?

you should get one more GB, but they told me, prices will increase a lot in the next two weeks, so wait if you can.

i didnt try the max out of my system, also waiting for more ram. but it is obvious that the pc-laptops are quite faster then the apples. especially with PT LE...
