I've just installed a SampleCell II PC with V1.02 software, and it works fine--the self tests are ok, it loads instruments and plays them from the map keyboard, and also from Cakewalk's Virtual Piano, after selecting it as the external midi interface.
The problem occurs when I try to select either of the ports on my MOTU Pocket Express interface. SampleCell freezes and has to be Ctrl-Alt-Del'd. The interface works fine with other applications both before and after such a freeze.
I've had the same results in two different machines (both 486's running Win95).
Any suggestions?
